The Baansumlee Homestay and Resort offers country-style living in the tropical fruits garden surroundings of southern Thailand 565 km south of Bangkok and 65 km north of Suratthani International Airport. It is located in Suratthani Province set on the west side of highway A41 and 10 km to the north is the border with Lamae of Chumporn Province.

Baansumlee Homestay and Resort has been renovated from the old wooden house built in 1987. It is one of accommodation easy to find along the highway A41 but offers different, here, good food and friendly service staff with fluency English in a relaxed atmosphere and homely wooden accommodation. We have opened our doors to welcome travelers interested in a tropical Thai’s fruit in season of Durian, Mangosteen, and Longgong around June until August with the opportunity to take their own fruits picking from its tree.

Fruit picking season, here, around June until late August or mid September. It is a very good opportunity if stay in the period that you can experience and enjoy yourself for fruits picking.

Here, you can enjoy outdoor activities such as bike cycling, water rafting in season, day tour as own plan,  cooking your own food, relaxing by listen to the music or watch television where cable service brings in news, movies, music and sports from sattlelite. Also online to the world with internet connection service.

BaanSumlee homestay is not far from the palm oil field, natuaral hot spring water, historical places and famous buddha places. Here, you can stay as longer you want to have a simply life and local living that you might not ever imagin when staying at your hometown.

The Coffee Bar service at BaanSumlee is also welcome travelers by car to take a rest from their long driving with a good cup of our special fresh coffee, relaxing with books or massage chair, movies on TV, etc.

If your destination seeking for laid back vacation is in the south of Thailand like Koh Samui or Phuket, we would like to invite you to break your journel plan for few days for visiting us before/after such plan. บ้านสำลีโฮมสเตย์ แอนด์ รีสอร์ท ตั้งอยู่บนฝั่งตะวันตกของทางหลวง สายเอเชีย หมายเลข เอ 41 สู่ภาคใต้ บริเวณหลักกิโลเมตร 105 ต. คันธุลี อ. ท่าชนะ จ. สุราษฎร์ธานี

บ้านไม้อยู่อาศัยชั้นเดียวถูกยกสูงเป็นบ้าน 2 ชั้นและปรับปรุงต่อเติมให้เป็นเรือนรับรองแขกในลักษณะโฮมสเตย์ โดยชั้นล่างมี 2 ห้องนอน 2 ห้องน้ำ พร้อมล๊อบบี้ และส่วนต้อนรับ ชั้นบนมี 2 ห้องนอน 2 ห้องน้ำ พร้อมห้องโถงใหญ่และครัวไทย บนชั้นสองมีระเบียงกลางแจ้งขนาดใหญ่ เพื่อรับลมและชมดาวยามค่ำคืน

หากเข้าพักในช่วงฤดูผลไม้ (มิถุนายน ถึง กลางกันยายน) ก็สามารถเก็บผลไม้สดๆ จากต้นด้วยตัวคุณเอง  เรามีกิจกรรมกลางแจ้ง เช่น ปั่นจักรยาน ล่องแก่งแม่น้ำละแม  ชมสวนผลไม้ ชมวิถีชีวิตชาวบ้าน ชมการทำผ้าไหมพุมเรียง การทำไข่เค็มไชยาและสถานที่น่าสนใจใกล้เคียง อาทิ สวนโมกขพลาราม สระนาฬิเกร์ พระบรมธาตุไชยา วัดถ้ำใหญ่ท่าชนะ บ่อน้ำร้อนถ้ำเขาพลู  เป็นต้น
